Breakfast is food for the brain; it is what keeps you functioning for the rest of the morning. Skipping breakfast slows down your body\u2019s metabolism as well as your reflexes. Don\u2019t want to appear tired at work? Do NOT skip breakfast!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2. To combat dehydration, make it a habit to carry a bottle of water with you, so that you can keep track of whether you&#8217;re drinking enough water over the course of a work day.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>3. Say no to elevators and take the stairs whenever you can. Did you know that climbing stairs has been proven to burn more calories than jogging?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>6. So, remember the 20-20-20 rule for healthier eyes. Every 20 minutes, stare at an object 20 feet\u00a0from you, for 20 seconds. Also, blink often to moisten and refresh your eyes. To reduce the strain on your eyes,\u00a0adjust the display settings on your monitor and lower the brightness. \u00a0Additionally,\u00a0increase\u00a0the font size so that you don&#8217;t have to squint.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>7. It is always advisable to have a plan in mind, but more importantly, stick to the plan!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>10. In order to perform at our\u00a0best, most of us need at least seven hours of undisturbed sleep every night. That probably includes you, lest you consider yourself to be superhuman.
