Ras Malai<\/h2>\n<p>This creamy dessert is made with crumbly curd cheese, sugar, and milk. \u00a0It is a combination of cheesecake and pudding. \u00a0It originated in Odisha and spread to other parts of India and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Sohan Halwa<\/h2>\n<p><em>Sohan halwa<\/em> is also known an Persian <em>sohan halwa<\/em> because it is known to have originated in Persia. \u00a0It is still popular in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. \u00a0It is made with milk, water, sugar, ghee, cornflour, almonds, pistachios, and cardamom. \u00a0They are caramel in color, decorated with nuts, and packed in cylindrical containers.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Cham Cham<\/h2>\n<p>This dish is made with sugar, saffron, cream, water and lemon juice, garnished with coconut flakes. \u00a0Although it is a Bengali sweet, it is more famous in Uttar Pradesh and Bangladesh. \u00a0It is also called \u00a0<em>chom chom<\/em>\u00a0or <em>chum chum<\/em> in some parts and can be found in many colors such as pink, green, and orange.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Mishti Doi<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/lifestyle\/food-wine\/nutritionist-explains-mishti-doi-healthier-alternative-sweets-healthy-eating-7623418\/\"><em>Mishti doi<\/em> <\/a>or <em>mitha dahi<\/em> literally means &#8216;sweet curd&#8217;. \u00a0This dessert is made with sweetened yogurt, milk, and sugar. It is particularly\u00a0preferred in West Bengal and Odisha after lunch. \u00a0It is usually sweetened with brown sugar or date molasses and served in small earthen tumblers.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Rabri<\/h2>\n<p>The ingredients for making <em>r<\/em><em>abri\u00a0<\/em>are curd, flour, and\u00a0<em>bajra\u00a0<\/em><em>roti. \u00a0<\/em>It is a popular dish in the northern parts of India and parts of Pakistan. \u00a0In Bihar and Rajasthan,\u00a0<em>rabri\u00a0<\/em>is eaten with lunch. \u00a0There are variants of\u00a0<em>rabri\u00a0<\/em>depending on the region.<\/p>\n<h2>9.
